The Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce and Salem United Church of Christ invite you to enjoy our beautiful Lighted Parade and Night in Bethlehem on Saturday, December 6th.
Our wonderful Lighted Christmas Parade begins at 6:00pm at the Huntingburg City Office. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be leading the way on Ol’ Betsy, our adorably personable fire truck. The Southridge Marching Band and various community groups will be participating in the parade. Candles will be handed out to parade spectators. The parade will continue down 4th Street to Salem Church. As the parade passes, we invite the spectators, both young and not-as-young, to join in and walk with us to Salem United Church of Christ’s Parish Hall (4th & Walnut) where we can all experience a fantastic Night in Bethlehem at the Marketplace. Santa & Mrs. Claus will also be at Salem to discuss Christmas lists with the youngsters.
The Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to shop locally on Fourth Street during the day. The downtown shops are dressed up and ready to meet your Christmas gift needs. Many shops will be staying open until the start of the Parade at 6:00.

From this writer/shopkeeper’s viewpoint, the 29th Annual Christmas was a BIG SUCCESS! I’m sure all of the shopkeepers on 4th Street had the same experience!
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I’m sure everyone can find beautiful decorations and goodies for their table right here in town! So, don’t hesitate to “Shop Small” and come visit the merchants on 4th Street!
Christmas selections in downtown Huntingburg are plentiful! Toys, hats, jewelry, antiques, musical instruments, home décor, collectibles, good food — just about anything you could want!
We’re looking forward to seeing old friends and lots of new faces during the shopping season!
